Dog Friendly Boat Trip Dorset
Our boats is stable and spacious, providing plenty of room for your four-legged friend to stand or sit, whatever they’re most comfortable with. We kindly ask that your dog is kept on lead at all times out of respect for our other passengers. There is a fresh water hose on the pontoon, should you need to fill up a water bottle before heading out to sea.
We love having dogs on board and are always happy to give them a good fuss. As our ‘Dogs of Snapper’ photo gallery and wonderful reviews show, we’ve welcomed dogs of all shapes and sizes on our boats over the years!
Please note: In addition to running sightseeing trips aboard Snapper, we also offer a selection of fishing trips. Every effort is made to clean the boat thoroughly before heading out on a scenic trip, however there may be some remnants of fish and hooks on board. Please be mindful of this and check the area you are sat/stood.

Do I need to let you know I’m bring a dog on a sightseeing trip?
No, you do not need to let us know you are bringing your dog/s on a sightseeing trip. However, you must get in contact prior to booking if you’d like to bring a dog on a fishing trip – this is sometimes possible at the skipper’s discretion.
Do you allow dogs on fishing trips?
We kindly ask that you get in touch prior to booking a fishing trip to ask the skipper about bringing a dog. Our fishing trips are longer, with limited shade and lots of bait around the boat, so it’s sometime not appropriate to have dogs on board. Please get in touch prior to booking – we recommended texting or emailing in the first instance – it can be difficult to answer the phone at sea.
About Snapper Charters
Snapper is a spacious power catamaran with outdoor seating. It is wide and stable making for a comfortable ride. You are more than welcome to get up and walk around during your trip.
We specialise in small group boat trips so there will be a maximum of 12 passengers on board plus crew. We are family friendly, though please note children must be accompanied by an adult. There is a toilet and board.
